Blackboard is a web-based course management system that allows instructional materials to be easily delivered via the Web. It includes threaded discussions, file sharing, e-mail, chat, gradebook and other tools. Access to BlackBoard is granted at different levels.
Students who are enrolled in the course have full access to the materials for their course. This may include handouts, assignments, supplemental materials, discussion boards, etc.
Guest access is available for all other users. Access to course materials varies depending on instructor preferences.
