To enter KU's Master of Science in Engineering Management degree program, applicants must:
- Hold a Bachelor of Science undergraduate degree in engineering or related science from an accredited institution.
Technology degrees are considered only with a very high (e.g. 3.8) GPA and substantial experience (8-10 years).
- Have earned a 3.0 or higher grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) in undergraduate studies. Admission may be granted on a provisional basis if your GPA is between 2.50 and 2.99.
- Have at least two years of full-time, post-undergraduate work experience in a technological environment.
- International students must also meet English, visa, and financial support requirements (detailed in the "How to Apply" section).
Neither the GRE or GMAT are required.
Students can enroll in EMGT classes as non-degree-seeking, without being (or before being) admitted to the program as degree seeking. Non-degree-seeking students only need to fill out the non-degree-seeking application, submit the application fee and submit their official transcript(s). If admitted, a student can apply up to 6 credits earned while in non-degree-seeking status toward a degree.
